About the Artist

RON SANDERS is a Signature Member of the Paint America Association and the National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society. The winner of numerous national and regional awards and honors, the artist's work hangs in private and public collections throughout the United States, including the Indiana State Museum Collection.

While in college Ron received training as an illustrator and went on to produce images for clients such as Spike TV, Doubleday Book Club, Chase Financial, The Boy Scouts of America, BF Goodrich Tire Company, and many others. However, his college training also included a strong foundation in academic fine art, such as anatomy, perspective, color theory and traditional oil painting techniques. Ron supplemented these studies with individual technical research after graduation while expanding his knowledge of practical application through workshops with award-winning artists Huihan Liu and George Strickland.

Ron Sanders' oil paintings have been shown and sold through numerous galleries from coast to coast as well as being published as limited edition prints.

Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Ron attended the Columbus College of Art & Design. He now has his studio near the beautiful Smoky Mountains where he resides with his wife.
